Athlete Biography
Professionally, Sonie is a Master Personal Trainer at Shapes Total Fitness. She has earned the Personal Trainer of the Year Award in 2006 and is one of the Top Ten Grossing Personal Trainers for 2007.
Sonie is a 1st Kyu Brown Belt in the style of Okinawan Shuri Ryu Karate-Do and is ranked in Shinto Yoshin Ryu Jiu Jitsu. She trains with World Champion Shihan Donna Judge at Suncoast Karate Dojo. Sonie currently holds eight titles including the Florida State Weapons Champion for 2005-2006, the Florida State Traditional Forms Champion for 2006-2007, the Florida State Musical Forms Champion for 2006-2007, and the Florida State Sparring Champion for 2006-2007. Sonie is currently leading in the points for 2008 titles in NASKA and Fame in all of her divisions.
